Tony Romo Parts Ways with CBS Sports After DWI Arrest
The Facts

How different outlets are framing this
With only a single source available — ABC News — a meaningful comparative framing analysis cannot be conducted. The ABC News report presents the story in a straightforward, factual manner, leading with the professional consequence (parting ways with CBS) before noting the underlying cause (the DWI arrest), and providing brief biographical context about Romo's broadcasting career.
Because no additional outlets or regional perspectives are represented in the provided articles, it is not possible to identify differences in emphasis, omission, or editorial framing across sources. A fuller framing analysis would require coverage from multiple outlets, which may vary in how prominently they feature the legal allegation versus the career impact, or how much context they provide about Romo's NFL legacy and broadcasting tenure.
